It’s been a crazy week. And add to that the announcement we received on Thursday afternoon (3/19):
So we all know now that we will be an “online-only” class for the remainder of the semester. Although this news is hard to take, I do think it is better to know this with certainty as we move forward (rather than wondering and wading in the dark about when our return to campus might be).
It was so good to see you all on-screen last week, to speak a bit about the challenges we face and the fears that might be creeping up on us, and to just generally share our perspectives. Nothing much has changed in terms of our plans to move forward with our thesis tutorial gatherings. Mondays at 4:30 pm will continue to be our time set aside for us to catch up on the screen. I will send you a link (through your Kean email) right before class each week in order for you to have access to join. I think it is important to keep up with each other as we might start to feel isolated during this social distancing period. I am so glad I had a chance to see you and to check in with you weekly.
Hang in there. I know it is a difficult time. I look forward to connecting soon!
